The URL Changer is a Joomla! Component to manage redirects.

Contrary to Joomla! own Redirects Component, this redirects also work with existing pages which do not generate 404 errors.
It is in the nature of CMS systems deliver contents also directly via parameter calls. (Orphan pages)

With the URL Changer you can optimize this behavior via the htaccess file.

Important Information - Joomla 4 Support The currently offered version is NOT yet compatible with the new Joomla 4! I plan to offer a first, in the core functions executable beta version here until Christmas!

Functions:

• Administrator view
  • manage Source-URLs and their Target-URLs
  • available Redirect types are [R], [L], [R,L], [R=301,L]
  • option to cut additional params in URL
  • current syntax in Htaccess:
    RewriteRule ^/quelle /ziel? [R=301,L]
    additional syntax can be added on request. Just write a message!
  • complete German as well as English translations
